Did you like last week’s how-to-guide to a new identity? How is the identity statement working for you? (Click here to read to “22 Seconds to a New Identity”.)
It has only been one week for most of you and some others might start just now, so don’t expect a rapid change. It’s unlikely to happen that quickly. But starting is the best way to get there.
Today, in this post, I would like to address the one big block on why you might not see any change soon, or maybe not at all. This is big.
What am I talking about?
I am referring to the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is ruling our days in many ways, whether we want to or not.
In our subconscious mind, we have “saved” our behavioral patterns, our routines, things that give our days structure and safety. Things we do without really noticing them anymore. And those things can hinder us from changing our identity.
For example, that is one reason, why I suggested last week to listen (or read) your identity statement after you just woke up or before you go to sleep. That’s actually the time when the conscious and subconscious minds “connect”.
So, in order to really change your identity little by little, you might need to re-program your subconscious mind. Otherwise, you stick to your old routines and the new ones can not really manifest.
In order to do this, I invite you to watch the interview below. It’s one of Marie Forleo’s regular Q&A sessions. For those of you who don’t know Marie Forleo, she is an author and web TV host (among many other things) and does these entertaining MarieTV shows. I admit, you’ll have to like her sense of humor. If you don’t, stick with it for 🙂 In this session she is interviewing Dr. Cathy Collautt who is an expert on dealing with the subconscious mind.
So, if you want to go one step further and ensure that your mind is rewiring towards this new identity, have a look at the interview below. It takes 14 minutes.
What’s your take-away of this interview? Are you planning to execute on her steps to re-program your subconscious mind?
